Drawings...

From our installation, as i sat infront of it i drew some drawings of what i saw. I found this task difficult because there was so much to draw in little time as i had to experiment with different media's aswell.

Therefore instead of doing amazingly perfect precist drawings i completely just drew what i saw as i looked up, probably the reason why some of them look like massive scribbles!
This picture was drawn with just a blue biro pen.

I used pastol crayons for this drawing, although it is very messy it would have to be one of my favourites.

I liked how some of the wool was very wiggly instead of just falling straight, so therefore here i was mainly looking at this part of the installation.
I like how black marker pen is very defined and striking on white paper, so i used it to draw a small section of the installation.
Because i thought drawing the whole installation every picture would get boring i tried to concentrate on little things within the installation, here i was looking at one of the pom pom's. Even though there is not much colour in it, you can still  understand that to me they remind me of a sort of explosion.

I also drew some other drawings, from my inspiration of my Installation. Instead of drawing onto plain white paper like the photo's above, i expanded on this and tried to create some sort of background to draw on. But the backgrounds were also inspired from simply looking at my installation and drawing what i found most interesting.

  1. Your blog is really nice Sophie! Your image size is appropriate and fonts are a a nice size. I like your layout however I'm not too keen on the background.
